Position/Job Description:
- Assist in increasing the visibility of PAGTANAW 2050 among various stakeholders including policy and decision-makers, civil society leaders, and the private sector;
- Manage the social media accounts of the project;
- Prepare appropriate communication materials to promote the different activities of the PAGTANAW 2050 project;
- Design announcements and posts to be uploaded to the PAGTANAW 2050 official website and other social media accounts;
- Process and maintain copyright and permission requests;
- Maintain records and files of work and revisions;
- Draft talking points, blog posts, news, and feature articles primarily for print, radio, TV, and Social Media platforms; and
- Provide administrative support to the project and perform other duties assigned from time to time.
Skills/Competencies required:
- Photo and video editing skills
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
- Know how to layout books, brochures and other publications
- Analytical skills – ability to learn, adapt, and formulate a research issue, including capacity to work in an interdisciplinary environment
- Interpersonal skills – works well in a team and able to communicate/deal effectively with the policy makers and media
- Written communication skills – writes well-organized and clear press releases and reports
- Oral communication skills – able to talk to others, to give and exchange ideas and information clearly and effectively
- Organizational skills – manages and organizes one to two events at the same time
- Problem-solving skills – uses good judgement and resolves problems/concerns regarding assigned tasks
Qualifications:
- Relevant education: Bachelor’s Degree in any communication course, preferably in Development Communication, Journalism, Mass Communication or any degree in a research-heavy field
- Relevant experience: None required
- Relevant training: None required
- Eligibility: Career Service – Professional/Second Level Eligibility (Preferred)
Compensation: ₱30,572.00/month
